Jedan od najznačajnijih hrvatskih gitarista i višestruki dobitnik Porina Viktor Vidović, predstavlja se zagrebačkoj publici koncertom Gitara i kantautori, na kojem ćemo imati priliku čuti djela poznatog brazilskog skladatelja H. Villa-Lobosa i Viktorove vlastite skladbe za gitaru. Poseban dio koncertnog programa posvećen je Viktorovim kantautorskim djelima i gostu koncerta, afirmiranom istarskom skladatelju i također kantautoru, Bruni Krajcaru, a ovaj idiličan koncert započinje stihovima karlovačkog pjesnika Željka Mavretića.
Koncert je i izvrsna najava najnovijeg albuma Viktora Vidovića Villa Lobos: Djela za solo gitaru u izdanju Croatia Recordsa, na kojem ćemo imati priliku čuti odlične needitirane snimke ovog svestranog umjetnika.

"Decameron negro" promotion and recital -

On Wednesday 16th February 2005, Victor Vidovic
will give a recital and promote the Decameron negro
album in the Small Hall of Vatroslav Lisinski concert hall
in Zagreb, beginning at 20:00.
Apart from the compositions by Dyens, Walton, Domeniconi,
Brouwer and Takemitsu, included in the album, Vidovic will
perform works by Villa-Lobos, Tarrega, his personal
arrangements of Arlen and Albeniz and his own compositions.
The programme includes some of the classical guitar
evergreens, such as Reminiscence of Alhambra and
Asturias, as well as modern compositions and authorial
works by Vidovic, reflecting in style the artist's original
approach to his instrument arising from twenty years of
concert experience.
The audience will also have an opportunity to hear a few
first performances, such as Hommage á Jimi Hendrix.
Tickets will be on advance sale/sale at the Vatroslav Lisinski
ticket-office from 14th February 2005.
"Decameron Negro" published -

Aquarius Records publishing house from Zagreb has published Decameron Negro, the solo-album by Victor Vidovic. It will be on sale in Aquarius Records cd-shops.The concert promotion of the album will be held beginning of February 2005 in Zagreb.

Victor Vidovic starts playing a guitar built by Croatian constructor
Marinko Josip Zeravica, a master craftsman currently living and working in Mainz, Germany. About his model, the Sempiterna, Vidovic says: “It is a beautifully crafted instrument, enchanting in its sound colour and volume, the wholeness of its tone spectrum and its magical warmth.“. Vidovic and Zeravica will continue to co-operate, sharing their knowledge and experience.
